Please join us for a celebration of transition, Saturday, August 21st at noon. It will be a recognition of the past and an extension of well wishes for the future, and a reflection on the moment between them.

Kathey Ferland is retiring from her roles as Head Instructor and Head of the Austin Ki Aikido Center and passing those responsibilities onto Michael Farris. She continues to teach Aikido and to be a member of the dojo family, while pursuing other adventures.

This is an invitation to both those are practicing now and those that have practiced in the past as well as friends of the dojo. We invite you to come and join us in recognizing Kathey’s contribution to the dojo and to wish us well for the future.

Please come by, if only for a brief visit, to share in this particular moment in our history.
